The official launch of the newly opened FINCA Microfinance Bank Mbagala Branch took place yesterday. Ag. Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jalal ul Haq was the guest of honor at the event, accompanied by Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Felician Girambo. The occasion was also graced by the Deputy Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Ibrahim Samwel, the Branch Manager Mr. Tumaini Merisy. There were many FINCA clients also present to mark the occasion.
Speaking at the launch, the Ag. CEO Mr. Jalal said that Mbagala cash-less branch is part of the strategy to strengthen the presence in the suburbs of Dar es Salaam and to tap the booming market of Mbagala and Temeke. There is an enormous business potential for FINCA as majority of the traders fall into MSME sector being our niche and the target audience. He believed that having FINCA branch at the heart of the market will enable many traders to receive suite of financial services at their convenience.
Jalal also stressed Mbagala branch staff to ensure excellent customer experience as it is centerpiece of FINCA’s philosophy and a competitive edge in the market. Clients served professionally and timely will help create a strong goodwill in Mbagala jurisdiction.
While expressing his thoughts, the Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Felician Girambo said that FINCA is focused on providing quality banking services by looking at what customer needs are and that the customers are satisfied with the services they receive.
He said that FINCA has more than 200 agents and digital banking services such as FINCA mobile, On-line loan applications and account opening to enable customers an easy access to the financial services.
Mbagala is the 20th branch of FINCA Microfinance Bank in Tanzania and the first in the Mbagala area, which is estimated to have a population of over 500,000 and is a fast-growing trading hub.
